– on Thursday 5th August to Bangor. Bus leaving
Main Street, Feeny at 10am, stopping in McNally’s
Inn for tea/coffee and scones. Arriving in Bangor
at approx 1pm where you can browse in the new Flagstaff
Centre, visit Bangor Abbey or Heritage Centre or just
take a leisurely stroll along the marina. Leaving
Bangor at approx 4pm. Stopping in The Elk for dinner
on the way home. Returning home at approx 7.30pm.

THE BIG KNIT 2010
is a fundraiser organized by Innocent Drinks partnering
Age NI (new charity combining Age Concern NI and Help
the Aged). The organization needs people from across
NI to knit small woolly hats to place on top of Innocent
Smoothie bottles. These will be sold in Sainsburys
and Boots stores during winter 2010. For every hat
knitted, 5p will go to Age NI. Simple knitting patterns
and instructions are available from Dorothy McConkey
