LEARMOUNT COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT GROUP - The official opening
of the Wildlife Garden at Park Recycling Centre
will take place at 11am on Saturday 3rd October.
As well as information about environmental issues
there will be activities for children including
face-painting, mask making and other nature
crafts. Everyone welcome.

FEENY COMMUNITY
ASSOCIATION – are currently looking
into the possibility of opening a shop in the
new development. It is envisaged the shop will
stock a wide range of local products such as
arts and crafts and non perishable items. It
is our aim to provide additional employment
to our area which has high unemployment at present
and also to provide a service which is currently
unavailable to the local residents. In order
for us to further our plans we are now seeking
letters of support for our project. If you feel
this is a project you can support please forward
all letters to the Community Office.
Feeny Community
Association will be running a second
maths class for all those unable to attend on
a Tuesday. This Class will start on Wednesday
30th September in the Community Office at 7pm.

groups… If you have a couple of hours
to spare in the month and would like to volunteer

Association – Youth Drop In –
this facility is for the youth of the area to
‘Drop In’. They are free to come
and go as they wish. The volunteers are there
to assist the youth whilst they are in the centre.
Once a child leaves the centre the Volunteers
are no longer responsible for these children….
