CONFIRMATION
– We extend a very warm welcome
to Bishop Seamus as he comes amongst us to confirm
our children on Tuesday at 6.00pm in St Joseph’s
Church. We pray in a special way for the Primary
7 children in St Peter and Paul’s, St
Mary’s and St Canice’s Primary Schools.

As you
know the Church receives tax benefit on the
contributions to our offertory envelopes. This
benefited the Parish last year by £16,000.
If you have agreed to gift aid but have not
been paying UK tax from April 2008 to April
2009 please let us know so that the claim can
be amended.
If you are paying tax and wish to join the scheme
call to the Sacristy after Mass for information.

FEENY COMMUNITY
ASSOCIATION would like to say a special
thanks to all the children and teenagers who
took part in the Easter Scheme. The organizers
of both the Tayto Factory and Ski Centre both
commented on how impressed they were with the
children’s behaviour, something you all
should be proud of! Photos will be available
in the next newsletter. Remember the Youth Drop
In is still running on a Monday and Tuesday
night from 7pm to 9pm for secondary school children.
