local community to sign our petition to the
local council for them to ‘grit’
the village road during bad weather conditions.
The petition can be found in the local shop,

Encounter Weekend is a recognized form of marriage
preparation. It is a communication enrichment
workshop designed for couples preparing for
marriage. The weekend is non-residential and
will take place in the Thornhill Centre, Derry

WORKSHOP ON MARRIAGE –
Renew Your Wedding Vows; Marriage encounter
is a weekend away (Friday 8pm to Sunday 5pm)

CHILDREN
IN CROSSFIRE – CYCLE COSTA RICA 2009 –
Colm Hegarty would like to thank all those from
St Joseph’s, St Mary’s and St Peters
and St Paul’s who kindly donated money
towards his cycle across Costa Rica in April.
A total of £550 was raised which is much
appreciated. The money raised by Colm and his
fellow cyclists will go towards two projects
in Central Africa. One project involves extending
a specialist children’s cancer hospital
ad the other is a graveyard project. Once again,
many thanks for all the kind donations.
