CANCER RESEARCH
UK DUNGIVEN LOCAL COMMITTEE –
Don’t forget to come and see the Great
Glenshane Lorry Pull on Saturday 20th June.
Local hero, Paul ‘Dudey’ McCloskey
will be there to get us on our way, leaving
from the Castle car park at 12 noon, sharp.
There are now 24 teams taking part. All proceeds
in aid of Cancer Research. Come along and enjoy
the craic later at the Ponderosa where Hugo
Duncan and his band will be playing from 4.30pm
to 8.30pm

Our U14 Hurlers
– travel to Offaly on 19th June to participate
in All Ireland Feile Competitions. A number
of fundraising events have been organized to
help cover the costs incurred: -
Next Friday 12th June - TABLE QUIZ –
in Sportsmans, Feeny, beginning at 9.00pm. Tables
of 4 £3 per person. Remember to bring
your completed Fireside quiz sheets on the night.
Everyone welcome.
Saturday 13th June – CONCERT AND
CAKE SALE – in St Joseph’s
Hall, Fincairn – from 7.45pm to 10.00pm.
Admission £3 including light supper. The
convert will feature young local talent including
the McNicholl school of Irish Dancing, St Canice’s
Primary School Choir and the U14 Hurlers.
U14 TEAM WILL HAVE A GATE COLLECTION
after Mass this weekend. Thank you for your
generosity!
We have tried to keep
the fundraising as varied and reasonably priced
as possible and hope you can all support in
some way. Anyone baking for the Cake Sale is
asked to bring their goods to the Hall between
3 and 4pm on Saturday 13th. Donations gratefully
accepted.
