VISITATION OF THE SICK
– Fr O’Reilly will attend the
Sick in Foreglen on Monday. The Sick will be attended
in Teeavan and Carnanbane will also be visited on
Monday

FINCARN BLESSING OF
THE GRAVES – 13TH JUNE – Mass
will be celebrated in the cemetery on Sunday 13th
at 11.30am and will include the Blessing of the Graves.
We would ask that each family bring a bottle or container
of water which will be blessed and sprinkled by a
family member on each grave.

HALLOWEEN PARISH DRAW
– tickets are available
in the Sacristy. We hope that 100 sellers will take
twenty tickets to sell among your family or in an
area of the Parish.
ALTINURE BELL
As you know the Bell has been
out of use since Christmas - it is hoped that it will
be repaired soon. It is also hoped that we can add
an Automatic Angelus Bell. Donations in the book box
at the back of the Church will be used for this.

A camera lens was lost in Foreglen playing fields
a few weeks ago – If anybody has found this

a reminder to all parents that the children’s
sponsored walk will take place on Wednesday 9th June.
The children will leave from the school at 1pm and
walk to the O’Brien’s GAC, where they
will walk twice around the pitch before returning
to the school for 2pm. All parents, grandparents and
relatives are invited to come along and join in to
support the children. The sponsored sheet forms should
be returned to the school before 9th June. Thank you

ASSOCIATION has a new Outreach Project Programme.
We have an outreach worker who will call at the home
of anyone to whom we can be of assistance –
delivering prescriptions, returning library books,
or lifts to clinics and other such tasks. For more

The O’Cathain
Festival Committee invite you to Dromboughil

of the O’Cathain Festival and the programme
will consist of talks by local historian, Dr Bob Curran
and by Dr Jim Hunter and a harp recital by Rory Daall

LEARMOUNT COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT GROUP –
Garden in a Box Workshop
on Saturday
12th June 2010 at Park Recycling Centre from 11am
to 1pm. Create a mini garden on your window sill that
helps support a range of invertebrates, birds and
bats!! Learn about how night scented plants can attract
moths and bats to your garden and how to care for
your window box throughout the year. Enjoy planting
your own window box with busy lizzie, heather, sunflowers
etc. Afterwards there’s a great chance to get
some fresh air in the great outdoors Wildlife Treasure
Hunt. Booking is essential as there are only 15 family
spaces available. Cost £2 per family. Contact

Required – We are recruiting volunteers
to assist with painting the interior of the Learmount
Resource Centre. All materials will be supplied –
all we need is your time and skills.
Befriending Service
– We are setting up a Befriending Service
– Currently seeking new volunteers to assist
us in the provision of this service. A befriender
spends time with an individual in their own home providing
companionship and support. If you are interested in
other people, are a good listener and can offer a
little of your time this may be the role for you.
